One young boy is enchanted by what he hears and studies hard so he can escape the confines of his village and explore this other world he’s hearing about for the first time.

But when he eventually makes it to Australia with only a backpack of dreams and hopes, he finds the reality a little different from what he expected.

A whole new range of difficulties faces him.

Including racism, unfair treatment and much more.

Now, he’s had a TV programme made about him, runs a successful digital agency in Melbourne and hosts a long-running and popular podcast.
